A bit about Tusk, Team Defender & I
I will be running the London Marathon on 27th April 2025 to raise vital funds for Tusk.
Tusk is an incredible charity that works to fund exceptional conservation leaders across Africa. Tusk enables and empowers expert local conservationists who are best placed to direct the protection of Africa's wildlife.For almost 20 years Defender has partnered with Tusk to support its conservation mission in Africa.
The threat to Africa’s unique natural heritage remains real and more urgent than ever, so this year, team Defender will be taking on the London marathon to help Tusk continue their incredible work; protecting bio-diversity and endangered species across the continent.
Reasons to support Tusk:
- 72 projects supported by Tusk generated funds
- Tusk has secured over 50 million hectares of landscape for wildlife
- Over 1000 human-wildlife conflict incidences mitigated
- And more than 4million + benefit indirectly from Tusk's work
